Junior Architectural Technician, permanent contract. Award Winning Perth based Practice. Your new company A new job opportunity has arisen with a Perth based practice who are renowned for their pragmatic and sustainable approach to design. This practice has recently recruited and are now looking to add an additional member of staff which gives testament to a strong pipeline of work well into the future. The Practice also has plans to expand to different parts of the UK soon, making it an exciting time to join and become part of well-run business with a clear model. This practice has a strong reputation in designing and delivering private residential, leisure, commercial and retail projects across the UK. They also recognise the importance of BIM software and now use it across all projects in the practice and will provide full training. Your new role In your new role you will joining the close-knit design team to help them continue their track record of providing their clients with innovative and sustainable design solutions. You will mostly be office based but from the get-go you will expected to be comfortable heading out on site with the project lead to conduct surveys and inspections as needed. You will gain valuable in-sights that are often not on offer at larger more commercial practices. What you'll need to succeed For this job, you will have a recent qualification on HNC or above in an architecture related discipline and be proficient in computer aided design software packages. Ideally, you will have gained some work experience in similar roles for example through placements or work experience.
