Overview
Permanent Quantity Surveyor role, Derbyshire Main Contractor, Up to £40k, Multi Sector works Your new company You will be working for a family owned regional main contractor who have an established client base within the East Midlands. The company operate in a range of sectors and complete both refurbishment and new build works. They are now seeking a permanent intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks. Your new role You will initially be running small works projects up to the value of £4m. The works will be across multiple sectors and will include both new build and refurbishment. The organisation do also have multi million pound projects, that the successful candidate will work on once their experience matches the level required. You will manage subcontractor valuations and payments through to final account and provide commercial support to the contracts team to effectively deliver projects on time and within budget. You will complete monthly CVR's and be confident liaising with clients. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience of working for a main contractor or sub contractor and have circa 4 years experience of running projects or works packages up to the value of £4m. You will be an ambitious and driven individual who wants to work on the larger projects in due course. Candidates who have experience in sectors such as; Education, Healthcare, Residential, Industrial, Commercial office, Retail or Leisure will be of interest due to the diverse nature of projects. What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of up to £40k package dependant on experience.
