Permanent Quantity Surveyor job, Derby based, East Midlands sites, Residential Groundworks - Salary Negotiable Your new company My client are an industry renowned specialist contractor who work in the residential groundworks sector. They have an exceptional client base of both PLC and Bespoke house builders in the East Midlands region. With the organisation going from strength to strength they are now looking to add a permanent Quantity Surveyor to their Derbyshire office. Your new role In this position you will be working as part of the commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor reporting into the Commercial Manager. You will have both pre and post contract knowledge and good technical and contractual understanding. You will be responsible for; Preparing quotes and tender documents, Taking accurate measurements, Obtaining competitive sub-contractor quote, Assist with purchasing materials, Programming and co-ordination of contract and ensuring Health and Safety documents are adhered to and held on file. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience of working on Housing Developments, Roads, sewers, culverts, bridges, retaining structures, grounds and surfacing works. Dependant on the type of project you will be working on projects ranging in value £500k & £30M. You will also hold a full UK driving license What you'll get in return You will be working for an established contractor who are expanding their commercial team.
