Overview
SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join one of there top clients based in South Derbyshire This role will sit directly under the Commercial Manager and is a key role for the business and the department. The role will be responsible for identifying and maximising value whilst minimising cost on all live projects. it will be a developing position and so will be ideal for someone who is looking for their next long term career move. Day to day, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, will be responsible for: - Ensuring contractual obligations are achieved within budget and on time - Managing a variety of contracts - Preparing cost analysis - Working closely with the site teams - Identifying additional value opportunities - Being a key part of all Commercial meetings - Understanding all contracts and projects - Negotiation on final accounts - Maintaining business relationships - Raising invoices and applications - Contributing to forecasts, financials, planning etc The Commercial Manager is on hand to offer support, however the role will require someone who can hit the ground running and someone who has at least 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
