Overview

Sub-Agent (Main Contractor - Euston Station) - London Our client is a top tier contractor working on some of the biggest national Civil Engineering and Build projects in the UK. Working on HS2 Euston Station construction project you'll be coordinating and managing on the civil works packages, including supply chain, reporting to the Senior PM. Leading the engineering and site supervision team on a section of this project in accordance with the Construction Management Plan with a focus on London Underground and Rail. You will: Plan and supervise site works: procurement requirements and requisitions, deliveries, subcontractors, installations, utilities, etc. Support the Senior PM in look ahead programs, planning long term works: review drawings, initiate procurement subcontractors' requirements, follow up design development with the designers, evaluate potential construct-ability problems and provide valuable engineering. Manage and coordinate subcontractor's works and documentation. Produce Method Statements. Produce Weekly reports on site progress. Manage and coordinate materials approval process. Ensure that a design brief is prepared in accordance with the actual situation on site. Keep an updated file of all the documents produced and manage the distribution of them to all the interested parts. Record and monitor any agreed changes in materials or construction and corrections of faults. Oversight of temporary works including erecting and are dismantling in accordance with a defined procedure. Any technical support needed on site during the whole construction process. Implement and set a personal example in health and safety matters and CDM ensuring compliance policies etc not limited to, method statements, risk assessments and briefings. Ensure all certificates, assurance and compliance certificates are generated and carry out compliance checks. Dealing with the client and designers in relation to any design or construction works daily basis issues or progress report. You will have: A Degree Civ Eng or equivalent. Ideally be chartered member of a relevant construction industry body. 5 or more years progressing from Section Engineer, with commercial and contractual awareness (NCE3). Computer skills - well developed IT skills including a working knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD. Experience of managing consents, utility suppliers and stakeholders.
