Pre-Assessment and Outpatient Nurse Private Plastic Surgery Clinic / Group – London Central Full Time £32,000 – £38,000 dependant on experience The Client Private cosmetic surgical group of clinics and hospitals UK wide. In addition they cover non-surgical aesthetics also. The Role Is to develop the pre assessment service in line with the company policies. Work Autonomously and independently and to be in charge of their own patient caseload. Take in-depth patient histories and evaluate Ensure appropriate pre-operative investigations are ordered and to minimise any delays in treatments Ensure daily checks are performed and documented Maintain clinic rooms to a high standard Carry out nursing procedures including dressings removal of stitches and sutures etc. Carry out diagnostic procedures such as ECGs, swabs, blood tests etc. To liaise with surgeons regarding procedures and requirements To assist in pre and post-operative care of the patients following their procedures To assist in stock control and ordering Cover the out of hours on call phone according to the on-call rota More to be discussed… Skills and Experience Required RGN and/or ODP Extensive pre-assessment experience Previous Outpatient Clinic experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detailed history taking Extended clinical skill, including venepuncture, or wiliness to learn IT skills Ability to perform physical assessment, airway, heart, ECG Customer service / private healthcare experience preferred but not essential Stock control Excellent understand of CQC regulations More to be discussed… Salary £32,000 – £38,000 dependent on experience.
