Overview
Robert Half Technology are partnering with an international Automotive company, who are looking to appoint an NEW IT Operational Analyst . This role is to be based in Solihull. The IT Operational Analyst will provide IT Service support, ensuring any issues or requests that users may have. This role will be handling 1st and 2nd line IT issues for this global business, with Service Desk requests and incidents coming in via a central ticketing system and/or via telephone. Responsibilities: 1st and 2nd line categorisation, prioritisation and escalation of Service Desk incidents and requests Responsible for incoming contacts to the Service Desk, including email, portal, phone and local walk ups Responsible for ensuring incidents and requests are escalated to the appropriate teams in a timely manner Ability to quickly resolve standard incidents at first contact Ensure all support is provided in a professional and timely manner Production of, and updating of, Service Desk procedural documentation Collaboration with support and development teams Taking ownership of, and progressing tickets as required Part of the shift rota team for the Service Desk Candidate Profile: At least 18 months experience in an IT support role Certification/Diploma/Degree in related field Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Experience working with Cisco networks Networking skills (LAN/WAN/TCP/IP/VPN) and firewalling technologies ITIL knowledge and/or certification Strong attention to detail Good organisation skills Strong analytical troubleshooting Problem-solving skills Good knowledge of Windows 10 Providing support on standard office applications Salary: Salary banding between £18,000 and £28,000 benefit The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training .
