Multi skilled engineer Fantastic opportunity for a multi skilled engineer to work on a modern building in the Docklands. Working a day continental pattern just a short walk from the tube station and DLR,you will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of maintenance on the building. Salary is £40,500, overtime and other benefits including a bonus. Experience Required You will be someone who has proven experience in a similar role , with excellent knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical Services and plant. Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Electrical Services, Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning and Water Systems Treatment Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments Responsibilities · Liaise with the client on a day to day basis. · Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites M&E Plant and Equipment and Services. · Ensure that PPMs (self-delivery and 3rd party) are carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices. · Organise and assist, in reactive repairs to the on-site Mechanical & Electrical systems (BMS, Fire, Air Conditioning, Generators and LV Electrical Distribution and Switch Gear). · Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes. · Prioritising and delegating reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimum levels of service delivery is being achieved · Utilising Helpdesk and PPM systems to monitor performance and ensure service delivery Requirements · Trained to a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 · Monday to Friday- on split day patterns. · Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
