REED Engineering and Manufacturing and manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing Company with a global client base. Quality Engineer (Long Products) Job Summary The main purpose of this job is Main Duties Responsible for all Quality related activity regarding Billet and Bar products Customer Audits associated with the product line NADCAP Heat Treatment - All Production Areas (facilitation and get involvement from people in functional areas). Implement improvements to controls and maintain compliance. Specification review associated with customer requirements Writing and Review of procedures. Establish effective processes that ensure compliance PSR / 8D / CEDAC / Corrective & Preventive actions / Error proofing NPI and all associated quality activity Zero defect initiative - raw material: PPAP, FMEA Control plans Internal audits, process audits Customer complaints resolution Data driven continuous improvement Support for in-process and final Inspection Supplier selection, approval & monitoring Management of change & Risk Assessments Responsibility for quality record archiving Customer liaison including presentations Aerospace Customer annual performance review Responsibility for process equipment approval & metrology Demonstrable Experience of: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point at a minimum) required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and willingness to learn additional programs.
