Overview
REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing Company with a global client base. Job Summary The main purpose of this job is to develop and manage the Quality Management Systems for the metallurgical department based in the UK Manufacturing Facility, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. Leading a small team to ensure all elements of the QMS are delivered for the Metallurgical dept Main Duties Skills, Experience & Qualification Responsibility for the metallurgical Quality Management System Manage the NAPCAP audit process Metallurgical QMS Specification Review and Technical Spec Review - Implement actions to close gaps. Write / review and update procedures and establish effective processes that ensure compliance PSR / 8D / CEDAC / Corrective & Preventive actions / Error proofing Integration of systems to Main Operations Document Management Management reporting Training Management of approved suppliers including Supplier selection, approval & monitoring Specification control Management of Internal audits Internal auditing - QMS and Technical processes Customer complaints resolution Data driven continuous improvement Support for Metallurgical and Mechanical test functions (at least one discipline) Management of change & Risk assessments Responsibility for record & sample archiving Customer liaison including presentations Calibration Management Quality awareness training Product Release facilitation Management of Metallurgical administrator Company Bonus of up 10% also paid in the position - paid quarterly
