This job will have you getting to grips with anything from new equipment to 40-year-old machinery. Across conveyor belts, packaging machinery, chains and pullets, you’ll never get bored. There’s nothing robotic about this job. You’ll assist the packaging of pre-made food and drinks products – but here’s food for thought: you don’t necessarily need food industry experience; it’s the mechanical mindset we’re looking for, coupled with electrical rewiring and connecting etc. Two daytime shift options give you some flexibility with working hours. You’ll need to work one in four Saturdays but when you do, you can have the Monday off in lieu. You’re free to swap shifts with colleagues. If you work additional Saturdays within each four-week period, you’ll receive an extra £200 per shift.
