Overview
Commercial PMI Account Manager Consult Search & Selection are proud to be partnered with an innovative provider of specialist care who are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to work within their team with the aim of maintaining and building lasting relationships with all relevant Private Medical Insurers (PMI). This will involve seeking approval and agreeing reimbursement rates for new treatments, responding to insurer enquiries within a timely manner and also being involve in events when required. This role offers the rare flexibility of being home based, with the requirement of being in office 2 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Developing lasting relationships with all key PMI’s Analysing revenue data to use effectively in insurer discussions Negotiating pricing arrangements Planning and Organising annual insurer/broker seminars Work closely with the Accounts team to report and ensure that debt is kept to a minimum Establish a strong network of contacts at each of the insurers to help develop lasting business relationships Keep up to date with market intelligence and highlight any articles of interest to Head of Partnerships Manage any adhoc queries in relation to our patient transport network and setting up new suppliers who fulfil our service criteria Manage day to day queries with the employee private medical and dental schemes Support the Head of Partnerships with implementing the insurer strategy Undertake any other tasks appropriate to capabilities of the role Experience/ Qualifications required Strong negotiator with commercial awareness Strong interpersonal skills and communicator Friendly, personable and approachable demeanor Fantastic understanding of PMI and/or private healthcare market Good Computer skills including the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Great analytical skills Attention to detail Highly competitive salary on offer with comprehensive benefits package including private medical, pension, dental, gym memborship, wellness schemes etc. This position is advertised on an urgent basis, so please apply with your CV now to avoid disappointment - should you not have a CV readily available, then please contact Lauren Wilkinson for a confidential chat.
