Portsmouth Hospitals Charity raises funds to make a positive difference for the patients of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, their carer's and the staff who support this care. We seek to support healthy futures through fundraising and grant funding to help improve existing facilities, purchase additional equipment as well as supporting specialist staff training, research and innovation. * You will work with the Chief Financial Officer and Portsmouth Hospitals Charity Board, to provide leadership and Strategic direction to the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and to be responsible for the management and administration of the Charity. * As Head of Charity you will develop and grow the Charity in line with the strategic and business plans agreed by the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity Board. You will lead in delivering the Charity's mission of raising and using charitable funds to benefit patients, support healthcare staff and improve facilities. * Together with the Chief Financial Officer, you will enable the Charity Board to fulfil its duties and responsibilities for the proper governance of the Charity and to ensure that the Charity Board receives timely advice and appropriate information.
