Overview
An established, award-winning law firm seek an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their dedicated team in Liverpool. The national Real Estate team provides a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of property for both the public and private sector. Key duties and responsibilities: You will manage a caseload of part exchange conveyancing files (both sales and purchases). Checking titles and dealing with enquiries. Dealing with any compliance issues. Assisting other case handlers with their caseloads of similar work. Liaising with various parties such as other solicitors and clients. Performing billing duties, ensuring bills are paid in a timely manner. Satisfying standards of client care in accordance with Team Manager guidelines and directions. Completing client MI procedures. Achieving set financial and chargeable targets. Complying with relevant rules, policies and procedures. Keeping up to date with legal developments. The person specification: Previous experience working with housing developers is preferable but not essential. Excellent knowledge of conveyancing is essential. Ability to check freehold and leasehold titles. Complete SDLTs/Land Registry forms etc. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
