Overview

Finance Assistant Leatherhead Permanent full-time role Competitive salary and benefits BPS partner with a highly established yet continually evolving private schools group spanning across 10 countries. My key client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join one of their schools based in Leatherhead. The successful candidate will work directly with the School Business Manager to provide consistent, accurate, efficient and effective support for the development and operation of the finance functions for the school. Main responsibilities include the following: Purchasing and Payments: Processing purchase orders from requisitions Printing purchase orders, checking accuracy and distributing to clients. Processing invoices. Investigating and resolving supplier queries. Reviewing goods received not invoiced. Banking and Cash: Petty cash. Administering BACS payments from the school's Bank Accounts and submit returns to Head Office. Credit card payments and reconciliation of monthly statements and submit returns to Head Office. Assist month-end procedures and report back to Head Office. Payroll: Check overtime claims and processing before authorisation by the Business Manager. Collate monthly overtime sheets, expense forms and pay adjustments before authorisation by the Business Manager and submittal to Head Office Payroll. Qualifications and Experience: Previous Finance experience including: Invoices / payments / purchase orders / petty cash / BACS payments Multi-site experience is preferred but not required GCSE's A - C with Maths and English Microsoft Office skills desired Next Steps: If you are interested and would like to find out more please 'apply now'.
