Overview
Our client, a successful global manufacturing organisation, now requires an experienced Program Manager who will be responsible for management and delivery of a number of key projects across the business, involving a number of regionally dispersed stakeholders, within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. The Group owns some of today’s most successful brands, which it distributes through a variety of markets. The Role: Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, as the Program Manager for EMEA, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: planning and managing multiple projects using standard project management processes leading cross functional project teams within the processes acting as the communication interface for the respective program / project achieving program related quality, timing and cost targets planning, tracking and reporting of the program / project identifying key stakeholders and creating project steering committees executing regular meetings with the Project Teams, Operations and specific functional areas escalating critical issues arising within the project preparing monthly reports for each project preparing all material required for review processes The Candidate: Ideally of graduate standard, or higher, from within an engineering, mechanical or electronic discipline, candidates for the Program Manager role should be able to demonstrate: at least 5 years senior work experience in the same or similar role ideally within a production industry hold a recognised project or program management qualification a strongengineeringbackground with knowledge and understanding of software development and product launches significant previous project management experience, ideally within an electronic / hardware design environment that you have strong analyticaland program management skills solid project management and strong organisational skills, with close attention to detail and a commitment of working to deadlines experience of managing complex programs, projects and related teams previous experience of working on a pan-European / international business basis the ability to swiftly interpret complex international organisations and successfully build an internal network an understanding of techniques such as Agile and experience of working with Jira / Confluence Candidates for the Program Manager role should also be: results driven individual with a strong commitment to success a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional, "can-do" attitude able to work effectively both within a team but also under their own initiative highly proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint a strong capable leader, with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level Candidates for the Program Manager - EMEA role should note that there will be extensive travel within the EMEA region with this role and that European language skills would also be a benefit, but are not essential.
