Overview
We are currently working as leading a leading Engineering consultancy who are looking to recruit a Senior CAD Technician (Revit) based in York to work on major Building Structural projects which includes working on Rail, heavy industrial and energy projects. As the Senior CAD/Revit Technician you will be an integral part of the project delivery teams from concept development to detailed design on Structural Engineering projects. Within the role you will produce civil and structural deliverables in support of major railway infrastructure, heavy industrial and energy projects but also manage and check solutions produced by junior CAD technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major consultancy with a large and diverse project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the detailing of Steelwork and Reinforced Concrete structures and foundations in the industrial and energy sectors as well as the following job experience: Fluent in the use of AutoCAD and RevitExperience in building structures (could be beneficial if you have worked on Rail Structures such Stations, but essential)Detailed understanding of CAD and BIM modelling principals As mentioned, this position is based in North Yorkshire, specifically in York so therefore could suit candidates from the surrounding areas such as Leeds, Bradford or Sheffield.
