Overview

Navigator My client is seeking an experienced Officer who is experienced in assessing and supporting vulnerable clients into supported accommodation. The Navigator will be responsible for finding suitable accommodation for vulnerable clients, e.g. with mental health issues. Must be a resilient individual who is confident with managing own caseload. The team are looking for an experienced candidate that can work hard towards decreasing the number of homeless clients in the borough. Experience directly supporting vulnerable clients is key for this position. The manager understands the pressures of the role and is keen to support all Officers. Duties Includes : Finding a suitable settled accommodation solution supporting clients. Develop strong relationship with 10 clients at one time, being a main point of contact for support and advice Carrying out Street counts to keep up to date with number of homeless clients on the streets. Supporting your clients after recovery from rough sleeping through to securing accommodation Experience required: Expepreice managing up to 10 cases and supporting Rough Sleepers into suitable Temporary Accommodation Accessing each client's individual needs E.g. mental health, adult social care, substance misuse and primary and secondary health care services. Accessing appropriate welfare benefit entitlements from assessments Second Language speaking - desirable If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you.
