Riverside have a new opportunity in Westminster for a Service Manager, working full-time, on a permanent basis. You'll earn £29,512 per year+ £4,000 London Weighting Allowance. Who you'll be helping The successful applicant will work across two accommodation-based mental health and homelessness services in Westminster. Each service comprises a number of buildings. You will primarily be responsible for the health and safety, compliance and other practical aspects of the services. We aim to support our customers to build key life skills, confidence and self-esteem and work towards moving customers onto more independent accommodation or to access training and education services. You can read more about our scheme here. While Riverside does have roles for carers, this is a role perfect for those looking for support work. What will you do? You will line-manage colleagues on the night team, and those on the day team whose focus is the housing aspects of the job. You will be responsible for the operational management of a service or group of services; within a supported housing and/or retirement living setting. Effectively manage a team to provide a high quality customer focused service, ensuring delivery of legislative and contractual performance requirements. Report to the Area Manager, the post has line management responsibilities for Support Workers, Housing Officers, Night Assistants and Project Assistant. Day to day Your key responsibilities as a Service Manager will include: • Service delivery and contract management • Liaising with Commissioners and stakeholders • Working with internal colleagues in Asset Services, Human Resources and IT • Working with partners to deliver quality commissioned services and homes for customers in the patch For a deeper understanding of your responsibilities, take a look at the job description linked below. Does this describe you? An understanding of mental health and homelessness is essential as these are the client groups we work with. You will work within a supportive management team. You have an understanding of internal and external operational issues facing Care & Support services. You will have experience managing services and teams in a housing and/or support environment as well as working with vulnerable customers. Driving performance, service improvement and meeting KPI's.
