Overview

Providing Commercial Insurance on a global scale for over 100 years my client is a market leader in its field. Working in their small but fast growing central London office, they have a new opportunity available for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. To be considered you will have a few years experience in accounting in the insurance or reinsurance sector. You’ll be enthusiastic, determined with the aptitude to grow with a company. Reporting into an FC, duties will be varied including: Accounts - Accounts to Trial Balance and assist with Statutory returns Assist with filing returns and finalising accounts for Dormant Companies Premium calculations Debtors age-wise analysis Uploading Premium calculations on to the Accounting Software Cash management Assist with Solvency II returns Returns with Bank of England (BEEDs) Running the payroll for 40 staff End to end letters of Credit Management Banking - Managing funds and monitoring investments position Liaising with all banks for banking operations Audit Management - Point of Contact helping facilitate the audit process Compliance - Assisting with Computation and Filing of the following returns Corporation tax VAT IPT GABRIEL via FCA portal Australian Re-insurance Pool Corporation ABI filings Office for National Statistics Flood Re ELTO Other - Handling and drafting TOBAs for new brokers Reviewing of various Agreements relating to office premises and Lloyds box Experience: 5-10 years in an Accounts department Qualifications: equivalent of AAT Level 4 or CIMA / ACCA part qualified / qualified Salary: Up to £35,000 depending upon experience and qualification Interviews to be held via video call. Induction will also be remote and allowances will be made.
