JR352 - VP/SVP Media Relations - Financial Services - Investment Banking - Permanent - London - £70k - £90k bonus/benefits Our client is a well-known banking organisation who are looking for a VP/SVP Media Relations to join the business. You will have the opportunity to use your proactive and reactive media skills, working with key stakeholders advising and counselling on communications strategy and engagement. You will hold and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts which includes national and trade press, being able to suggest and pitch media angles and coverage. The postholder will also support across some internal communication activities where needed. This largely covers EMEA but will have a global remit. To be considered: Solid Media Relations experience working for an Investment Banking organisation or agency side working with B2B financial services clients A mix between proactive and reactive comms Comfortable working with challenging stakeholders, advise/counsel around communications strategy and engagement. Suggesting innovative comms solutions Build and manage strong relationships with national and trade press, pitch media stories and coverage Excellent written and verbal communications This opportunity is being managed by James Reeves at McGregor Boyall.
