Hospital Facilities Technicians - Cleaners - Porters - Drivers - Handy Man / West London / Immediate Start / Good Rates of Pay / Temporary Assignment - On Going / DBS Checked Desirable - Experience of working within NHS Desirable NC Associates are looking for Hospital Facilities Technicians, Cleaners, Porters to tart immediately due to the COVID 19 Virus, The NHS are looking for candidates to start immediately who ideally have had previous experience of working within the Health Sector / NHS either being a cleaner, porter, handyman, driver. Duties Various duties including Cleaning Performance of specialist and general cleaning tasks to prescribed standards and in accordance with the work schedule, hospital policies and department operating procedures, either on an individual basis or as part of a team. To have a full understanding of heavy duty cleaning equipment and procedures, their use and maintenance. Ensure all equipment and machinery used are cleaned regularly and securely stored along with materials after use. Assist clinical staff with the cleaning of bodily fluids as directed by your Supervisor Clean patient mattresses, beds and or/bed frames and complete necessary paperwork as part of the bedroom cleaning schedule. Portering Lifting, handling and transportation of goods including food, beds bedding, newspapers, furniture and waste. The delivery of medication following Pharmaceutical guidelines, taking direction on these guidelines from the Chief Pharmacist. Assist in the delivery of Post to reception areas where appropriate. Where appropriate the movement of patients and patients belongings whilst maintaining at all times high levels of professionalism. Maintenance - Handyman To have the ability to use electronic equipment to receive additional work requests from Estates help desk. To have a full understanding of the tools and products required of the role and to be able to demonstrate in practice their use and application. To be able to work safely from ladders, towers etc, as the need arises. Ability to work in unpleasant situations or environments. Be prepared to work, from ladders, in staff and patient occupied areas, and any other areas as directed by the Facilities Supervisor. Requirement to exert heavy physical effort to several long periods, i.e. Use of heavy machinery, lifting and moving equipment. Being able to safely use tools on secure ward areas whilst adhering to Trust/Local policies and procedures. Experience Required To be successful in your application for these roles. Ideally you must be DBS checked and be available immediately Ideally you will hold a full driving license as you will need to travel to various borough / trusts within the NHS Experience of working within the health sector like the NHS would also be desirable What Now?
