Based out of prestigious Manchester city centre offices, they have exciting plans for ongoing expansion. Our client is seeking a new business underwriter to support highly achievable profitable growth in the North West market. You will build relationships with contacts at all levels within key regional brokers, focusing on Property and Casualty risks. Essentially in this role, as well as negotiating with brokers you will also be required to influence internal stakeholders in order to provide the most competitive and creative solutions, thus converting business. A sound Property and Casualty underwriting background is crucial, along with a trading mentality and a successful track record in new business. To be effective in this role you must be proactive, with solid communication skills and the desire and tenacity to win. The successful applicant will join a globally recognised insurance brand with a successful regional team.
