The company offers unrivalled breakdown support, repair and routine maintenance for transport fleet operators across the UK. Job Description We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual who is looking for an opportunity to excel within a sales role, working within a reputable and well established organisation. The role reports into the Regional Business Manager and will focus on establishing new relationships and maximising existing ones across the North of the UK. The purpose of the role is to grow our customer base of users for our Service and Repair business through new customer acquisitions, developing our existing customer base and re-engage with previous customers. Focusing on our depots across the North of the UK, you will establish relationships with our target markets and this will be done through leads generated by the engineers, networking and cold calling. * Build and develop relationships with existing customers to increase and sustain growth * Maximise business opportunities with existing customers, expanding on the current work portfolio we already carry out for these customers * Identify and design plans to engage and communicate with prospective customers with an emphasis on growing and maintaining service and repair work for the business. * Follow up on leads from other areas of the business, including engineers with the emphasis on turning those leads into successful business opportunities * Target previous customers of MFS and identify any new business opportunities, specifically working on building those relationships and maximise selling opportunities * Work closely with the Regional Business Manager to generate leads with prospective clients * Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone * Understand the needs of the customer with the ability to respond effectively with a plan on how to meet their needs * Have a good understanding of the business products or services and be able to advise on them Qualifications The ideal candidate will have come from a previous customer contact environment and have a natural flare for sales. You will be ambitious and not afraid to seek out opportunities and be tenacious in your approach. You will have come from a services environment and understand the pace in which this sector moves and the expectations that it has. * Essential to have Business Development and Customer management experience in a service centric environment, and ideally temperature controlled. * Experience in a fast-paced sales or customer facing environment where you have been able to build relationships with demanding customers. * The ability to build relationships with customers at all levels in a very time sensitive arena. * Having Good Commercial acumen coupled with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Skills in prioritising obligations with the customer * Attention to detail * Excellent time management and organisation * Ability to self-motivate and work independently Additional Information The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and be happy to travel regularly across the North of the UK.
