Job Description
Business Development Executive 50,000 - 60,000 plus benefits (Grade D18) 12 month fixed term contract Manchester city centre with frequent travel nationwide We're looking for a dynamic business development executive to join us in our Funeralcare business. We're already a market leader, but we want to trail the way for client care and innovation. And this means extending what we offer, developing new products and services to meet the emerging needs of our members and communities and generating new income streams. As a business development executive, you'll proactively identify, develop and deliver new business opportunities. You'll use your previous experience and passion to engage businesses and develop partnerships across the country to support the growth business plan. It's a big job, but it's one in which you can make a real impact in a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy. What you'll do assess new business opportunities and generate new leads be responsible for the end to end development process, from lead generation to initial conversations and negotiations, through to delivery and performance management liaise with new and existing partners to develop opportunities external research and mapping, linking in with partners, business and communities to strengthen our relationships in a particular area and seek new opportunities support on particular aspects of larger projects and take the lead on smaller projects manage live relationships This role would suit people who have a background in B2B sales, with previous exposure to a commercial environment the confidence to work to targets and deadlines whilst remaining focussed excellent organisation and planning skills, able to manage own workload and work following own initiative outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners advance Power Point and presentation skills a flexible and adaptable approach relationship management skills Why Co-op?
