What is the role? As part of the Legal team, you will work closely with our cancer services, technology and other teams to provide practical legal advice and support, preparing and negotiating a variety of service, IT and grant agreements. Managed by a senior lawyer, you will also help to develop and embed good legal practice across the organisation. In doing so, our support for your continued professional development will be guaranteed. Who are we looking for? You are an English & Welsh qualified solicitor (or barrister or legal executive) with good post-qualification experience in commercial/contract law, including experience of technology and procurement. You will be able to offer practical solutions to a range of issues, whilst working autonomously and managing your own workload. A background working in-house in the charity or public sector is desirable, although not essential. What can we offer you?
