Assessment and Panel Coordinator - Independent Fostering Agency £36,000 to £38,000 South Gloucestershire, South West Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside a revered Independent Fostering Agency to find a new Assessment and Panel Coordinator for their services in the South West. Our valued client is looking for a passionate and organised Social Work professional to be based out of their office in South Gloucestershire. Rated as 'Good' in the most recent Ofsted inspection, our client is looking for someone to uphold their values at all times while ensuring that National Minimum Standards and other regulations are adhered to by all. The Role Working collaboratively within an experienced MDT alongside a Quality Assurance Manager, Form F Assessors and other professionals, you will be required to provide effective quality assurance for all recruitment and Panel activities. You will also be entrusted with overseeing the recruitment, training and HR compliance of Form F Assessors and Independent Panel members to ensure safe recruitment measures are adhered to. A comprehensive insight into all roles and responsibilities can be available upon request. Within this role, you will be expected to attend regular meetings with the Registered Manager, actively participate in CPD and training, and offer regular support to other Panel and Assessment staff. This is a full-time role that will, at times, require travel to alternative offices within the IFA, as well as visits to foster carers. This means a level of flexibility will be required with the potential necessity to work from home at times. You will require an valid HCPC registration and a full UK driver's license with access to a vehicle. The Criteria Relevant Social Work qualification, including a Social Work degree, DipSW or CQSW. Minimum three years' experience working in children's social work, preferably fostering. Comprehensive knowledge of the National Minimum Standards and other relevant regulations. Previous experience in a Panel Advisory role and strong understanding of Safeguarding. Experience in quality assuring assessments and/or the work of other Social Workers. Valid HCPC registration and a full UK driver's license with access to a vehicle. The Location The office for this role is deemed commutable from Gloucester, Bristol, Stroud, Berkeley, Cheltenham, Dursley and Thornbury.
