Landscaping / Groundworks Operative London £10.00 - £35.00 per hour Our client, who specialises in high-end, bespoke landscaping projects through to large multi-phase landscape installations and smaller specialised projects, are currently recruiting for Groundworks Operatives to join their Landscaping division. The Role General groundwork skills to a high standard Required qualifications for machinery usage to include diggers and rollers preferable Required driving qualification for trailer use preferable Experience with excavation, backfilling/spreading & levelling MOT Type 1, and concrete and/or metal edgings Ability to work from drawings Setting out experience preferable Assistance to their resin driveway installation team Block paving experience preferable Soft Landscaping skills (planting, turfing etc.) preferable Be proactive in ensuring sites are of the highest quality at all times Highlight and communicate any problems or developments Daily completion of job sheets highlighting future requirements Ensure that the van is kept clean and tidy with a full set of tools. Reporting any problems immediately Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed To be diplomatic and calm with clients Good people skills The Candidate Previous grounds maintenance / landscaping experience Driving License CSCS Card CPCS Card - 360 / Digger / Roller preferable Hardworking, honest, good attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative
