Predominantly we use wild, sustainable meat, with a focus on wild venison. We have our own dedicated Deer manager who harvests the wild deer over thousands of acres of prime English countryside exclusively for us. We also love rare breed beef and Lamb, Wild Boar from The Forest of Dean, and the freshest line caught fish that Cornwall has to offer. We harvest beautiful local vegetables, grown in season and we bake fresh bread daily. As a team member you will be serving elegant, sensual, beautiful food and drink, that is delightful to the eye as well as tasty. You will be part of a unique and modern concept that pays homage to the past. We like to describe our service as being well informed but relaxed and approachable. Polished knowledge and attention to detail along with the right side of familiar. We have three luxurious Bar spaces - the main bar has a 30-seat capacity, serving fine Champagne, carefully selected wines and beers, modern-classic cocktails, extensive gin list and bar snacks. Picturesque Summers evenings are brough to life on our terrace, featuring a Rolltop copper bar serving Rose and oysters on ice. Founded by our illustrious members, we have an elite, premium and private Club housing 3 alcove rooms and a small, central bar. The club is home to a ‘who’s who’ of local figures, sports stars, influencers, bloggers and even the odd celebrity. With a selection of Magnums and Coravin specials, we serve fine wine by the glass alongside wild food tapas. Delve deeper into the club and you will find a small late-night bar, offering a premium Cigar menu with fine red wines, Bourbon and Scotch. With personalised bottles of Single Malt on display, each of our members and guests benefit from a unique and personal experience each time they visit. We value our staff and strongly believe that best service is only provided by a happy and cohesive team Head Bartender – Experience/ Skills: · Previous experience in a similar role a must · Exceptional Customer service & Supervisory skills · Must be confident with cocktails with a comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines and beers · Good interpersonal skills, active listening, verbal communication · Display, initiative, team player, attention to detail · Confident, knowledgeable and positive · Energetic, engaging, entertaining, calm under pressure Head Bartender - Role: There are two Head Bartender positions available: one in the Main Bar and one in the Private Members Club. Ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of our guests, you will run the bar efficiently to the highest standard. Coordinating the other bartenders during each shift, you will assist with the development of the bar team. We want you to help develop special cocktails and mixes, whilst naturally ensuring compliance with H&S and food hygiene.
