Predominantly we use wild, sustainable meat, with a focus on wild venison. We have our own dedicated Deer manager who harvests the wild deer over thousands of acres of prime English countryside exclusively for us. We also love rare breed beef and Lamb, Wild Boar from The Forest of Dean, and the freshest line caught fish that Cornwall has to offer. We harvest beautiful local vegetables, grown in season and bake fresh bread daily. As a team member you will be serving elegant, sensual, beautiful food and drink, that is delightful to the eye as well as tasty. You will be part of a unique and modern concept that pays homage to the past. We like to describe our service as being well informed but relaxed and approachable. Head Restaurant Receptionist / Host – Experience / Skills: · Previous experience in a similar Host role in hospitality essential · Passionate about consistent & exceptional service · Great communication, interpersonal & management skills · Able to use own initiative, team player · Attention to detail, maintains orderliness, works well under pressure · Positive, polite and polished Head Restaurant Receptionist / Host -Role: You will be managing the front desk: welcoming, seating and ensuring the well-being of our guests. Managing reservations and dealing with all enquiries and general Restaurant admin. You will lead and train the team on all systems, telephone manner and dealing with any online booking enquiries.
