The Role As the Head of Finance, you will ensure the stability of our business model and drive value through all of our centre activities. Taking the lead on all risk and finance matters, you will be key to the development and delivery of processes and procedures that allow us to operate effectively and efficiently. You’ll seek to add value through accurate financial information and reporting and produce great financial results through effective finance business partnering. Your role will also involve: - Reporting to the Finance & Corporate Services Director - Providing technical and professional leadership for financial policies and systems - Planning, developing and evaluating financial policies and systems - Strategic financial planning and budgeting - Ensuring the prudent management and control of financial resources About You To be considered as the Head of Finance, you will need: - To be fully ACA qualified with a minimum of three years’ PQE - Experience of managing people, including inductions, development, appraisal, performance management, conflict management, motivation, and project management - Strong accounting skills in both manual and computerised accounting systems - Knowledge of accounting and payroll packages - Experience of collaborating with internal teams and other stakeholders - The ability to manage a varied workload - The ability to prioritise effectively
