Lead DevOps Engineer Leeds £60,000 - £65,000 A well stablished Leeds based organisation with national reach are currently looking for an exceptional Lead DevOps Engineer to join and take control of the DevOps team. You'll be responsible for the ‘how’ within the DevOps team and advising on all things DevOps. Essential Requirements: - Proven experience building and maintaining production systems on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, Lambda, ELB, Beanstalk) using Cloudformation. - Experience working in a DevOps/Agile environment and strong scripting skills (Cloudformation, Python, BASH). - Experience with application containerisation platforms and registry e.g. Docker & ECR. - Ensure development environments are rapidly available and repeatable support development efforts. - Experience with CI/CD tools e.g. Concourse, Jenkins. - Strong practical Linux and Windows based systems administration skills on a cloud platform. - Logical thinker and effective communicator comfortable interacting across all levels within IT. - Able to manage own time and achieve milestones and objectives. This role requires a solid background managing enterprise-level infrastructure environments as well as configuration management and scripting. Work with the other DevOps engineers to provide the technical leadership necessary to drive DevOps adoption to make engineering more efficient and effective including software configuration management practices.
