Rebellion North is looking for a Studio QA Lead to join our expanding internal QA team. We require someone with experience of QA team management. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years experience testing current-generation consoles and PC with at least 1 years experience leading a QA team. Ideally you will have been through a full development cycle, from start to finish, and have a broad knowledge of games in general. This role will initially be a 13 month full-time employed contract role (not freelance or agency) based at our Wakefield studio, however for the right person there are great prospects for this contract to be extended in future and/or to transition into a permanent in-house role. You must be able to legally work in the UK and available for extended hours when necessary. For this role you also will be reporting in to our Head of QA. In this role you will: * Find and/or reproduce bugs and defects in games and other interactive products. * Investigating and reporting on these and verifying fixes before games go live. * Maintain and update Rebellion bug databases, documenting test results accurately. * Be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure, meeting multiple production objectives and deadlines. * Provide support to all members of the QA team. * Help with team management, including personal goals and development. * Assist with the Managing and organisation your own teams day to day activities.
