Overview

Infrastructure Project Manager Our Edinburgh based banking client are offering an opportunity for an Infrastructure PM to join their team on an initial 6 month contract The successful candidate will be able to deliver the 'host data solution' workstream within Mainframe App Dev Transformation Programme. Ensure TDM and mTEC2.0 requirements are considered and that 'host data solution' will meet these. Work with key technical resources to define backlog and understand what is required to test and implement the solution. Establish operating/support model for the solution. Own RAID for workstream feeding in to overall project. Key accountabilities Prepares and takes ownership for all project plans/controls and resource plans, progress reporting on plans/controls and resource requirements and ensures the plan is in line with any wider programme plans/controls. Experience on Mainframe projects Identifies, tracks, manages and mitigates any project Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies. Tracks and reports on project costs and ensures the project is completed within allotted budgets. Ensures that all project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed Governance Framework. Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with Stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions and at different levels of hierarchy, including respective Technology or Business Project Managers. Ensures that activities are in place to adequately prepare the business and engage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively to enable change to be implemented and handed over.
