The Company Permanent People have a unique opportunity for an up and coming IT recruitment firm in Edinburgh City Centre. The firm is quirky, modern and they operate a more 'millennial style’ of recruiting. They are not at all corporate and allow you to self-manage. The firm is entering its 4th year of business and has only seen steady growth and success. They are a small firm but are now past the risk and hassle of being a start-up, they are looking to organically grow over the next year. The Role The opportunity is ideal for an established 360 IT recruitment consultant looking for more autonomy and freedom for work. The firm specialise in placing mid-senior IT professionals on both a Perm/Contract basis. They work with some of the world’s largest brands as well as some of Scotland’s Specialist Technology SMEs. Because they operate a service focussed mentality, there is very little Business Development in the role. They DO NOT cold call. They pride themselves on strong client relationships that are developed through face to face meetings and tailored relationship development. The Candidate They are looking for a candidate with between 1 - 3 years recruitment experience in IT. 360 recruitment is a MUST because although the role involves little cold calling BD, meetings with clients and building client relationships is a big part of the role. Because they allow self-management and are flexible with working, they look for candidates with proven billings and success of over £100k a year. This is because you will have a lot of autonomy to the role and will be expected to manage your own desk independently.
