Overview

We are representing a leading investment manager based in the City that is looking to hire an experienced ACA qualified accountant. This is to join as a Financial Reporting Analyst. The role is a broad and an ideal next step within the investment management industry for any ambitious ACA. The position will leverage off you're the skills and knowledge learned from your ACA qualification whilst also provide you with challenges, new experiences and the opportunity to learn and develop. You will get exposure to all aspects of the finance function and be responsible for periodic management information and KPI reporting with key relationships across the business. Some of the responsibilities include: Preparation of functional management information and collaboration with business line heads to regularly analyse costs vs. budget Preparation of monthly legal entity reporting for presentation to directors, including analysis and commentary Support delivery of group management information, key performance indicators and profitability reporting Month end balance sheet review and reconciliations Supporting the Senior Finance Manager in resolving technical issues (accounting, regulatory, tax) Periodic reporting to satisfy global regulatory requirements Proactively identifying and communicating financial risks to senior finance staff Assisting in the creation of financial models that support optimal business decision making Financial statement preparation in accordance with IFRS Assist in management of the delivery of external audit process Provide support to the business in delivering wider governance agenda (distributions, internal controls) The company itself is entrepreneurial in nature and has a track record of developing talent internally through offering progression and lateral exposure throughout the business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA with at least one years' post qualified experience in group finance, management accounting or FP&A; ideally within financial services.
