Overview

My client is a highly regarded professional services firm with a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Employee Relations Manager to join their wider HR team. Working within a supportive, progressive and very much developmental infrastructure . The role although based in Birmingham will entail travel to other sites. This varied and diverse role will entail acting as a national lead for all employee relations activities aligning with firm-wide strategy. You will provide additional support to international offices where possible. You will lead two Employee Relations Business Partners providing guidance, direction and support supporting them with complex ER cases. You will create and execute ER Strategy ensuring the team is working to the company model and looking for continuous improvement in the way that ER cases are handled. You will also be actively involved in change management reporting and analysing. This will include monitoring trends, adopting lessons learned and encouraging best practice. A strong relationship builder is essential for this role as there will be heavy stakeholder management. Applicants will have solid experience of managing extensive ER cases, processes and policies and have previously managed others. This role requires an innovative thinker who can think creatively and laterally. This role is ideal for an experienced Employment lawyer looking for the move across to a more people-based role but still, be able to use their expertise and knowledge.
