Overview
Harrison Holgate are working with an international Insurance Broker in a strong financial position who are looking to recruit a Head of Property. This is a key, strategic role in the business, responsible for achieving the performance targets of the Property Team's business plan, alongside developing new and existing business. The role will require aspects of operational management, such as supervising a team of four brokers, ensuring a high level of client service amongst the team and developing market relationships. Together with this, the role will be responsible for strategic client management (including travel), placement of risks and cross-selling and developing new business for the Broker. The right candidate will have more than ten years' experience in the property insurance market, ideally having experience placing Fac Reinsurance for territories worldwide. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, alongside basic management experience. Language skills would also be a plus.
