Fairlie Healthcare is looking to hire a Physiotherapist. Salary - £ 12.03 - £18.01 Per Hour Dependant on Experience Location - South London - Purley Hours - 38 hours per week Job Type - Full time (Mondays - Wednesdays 9am - 5pm, Thursdays & Fridays 8am - 4pm Advert Start Date: 6th March 2020 Advert End Date: 13th April 2020 Note To Applicants: We will also welcome applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK and these will be considered alongside all other applications. What do we do? Fairlie Healthcare is a leading provider of high-quality care which was established in 1999. We specialise in caring for young adults with neurological conditions, as well as patients with tracheostomies and who require ventilator support. We currently have two homes, Fairlie House which is located in West Norwood and Highfield House which is located in Purley. Both homes have achieved the highest rating from the Care Quality Commission and we continually strive to maintain our 'Outstanding’ service. We have big plans for the future and are currently building a brand-new care home which is located in the outskirts of Banstead which is due to open in Spring 2020. With this in mind, it’s a fantastic time to join our friendly team where you can really make a difference to the lives of others. We are currently looking for Physiotherapist to join our Highfield House home located in Purley which can be accessible via our free minibus service we offer to our staff for the start and end of your shift. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, activity co-ordinators, occupational therapists, senior health care assistants and rehabilitation staff who work together to support young adults, ensuring their care is truly person centred. Physiotherapists are a valued part of our team, as one you are required to assist qualified staff in providing the highest possible standard of care for residents. What will I be doing? You will be required to plan and carry out physiotherapy on residents and maintain a respectful, non-judgemental and caring attitude. To provide a high standard of physiotherapy to patients Responsible for own caseload providing highly specialised clinical assessment, diagnosis, planning treatment and review adapting practice to suit the needs of the patient of who may have acute, complex and/or chronic presentations To monitor, review and re-assess clients care plans and objectives against outcomes To supervise, appraise and advise Bands 2-5 therapy and support staff working in this area and to supervise/ assist students allocated to the speciality, assisting the clinical educators as required To work in a co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary manner Computer literate including use of electronic notes systems, data analysis and reporting systems We expect our staff to deliver the highest standard of care to our residents and we offer our staff a comprehensive and full training package, however you need to be qualified and an active member of relevant Special Interest Groups, including the CPS. What do I need to succeed in this role? You must be HCPC registered Highly motivated, enthusiastic HCPC registered specialist Neuro-Physiotherapist (Band 5/6), to work with our clients, and be a role model for our junior staff members. You must have at least 1 years’ UK experience in a Neuro setting, where experience of respiratory conditions would be an advantage. You will be offering comprehensive neurological assessments and providing treatment to achieving patients short and long-term goals, being able to measure them by appropriate valid outcome tools. You must have excellent communication skills, in-order to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. What’s in it for me?
