Overview
Senior Architect ¦ Residential Experience Essential ¦ West London With over 4000 Architecture practices in London alone, it can be difficult for SME practices to stand out but that's exactly what our client has done successfully. Since their inception, which dates back around 60 years ago, they have been rewarded numerous times for their dedication to producing quality work from inception through to completion. An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Architect to be based out of their London office, which is less than a 10-minute walk from Hammersmith station. You will be joining a technically focused team of 30, who provide high quality designs in a variety of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Mixed-use. However, as 60% of our client's work is in the residential sector with a well-recognised developer, they are looking to speak to experienced Architects who have a background working on these types of projects and are confident in all RIBA stages - Mainly from post-planning onwards. Key duties will include: Being the face of a project The go-to person for the client & contractor Delegating the right tasks to other members of the team (Managing a team of up to 5 people) Attend meetings onsite Procurement & Contract admin experience is essential While the project is being delivered in MicroStation, it is not essential for this role as our client take great pride in their dedication to providing professional support and training to employees. What would be of great benefit to our client is someone who has an excellent understanding of the Building Regulations in the UK, worked closely with developers in the past on Residential projects and has excellent technical skills. Our client is looking to pay up to £50,000 base salary for this position. Other benefits include either an annual bonus OR annual company trip abroad (decided by a team vote), yearly salary reviews, non-contractual early finish on Fridays and career progression.
