Head of Finance - ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified / Contract to Permanent Position / Salary £45,000 - £50,000 Benefits / Liverpool Location / Not for Profit Organisation / Commercial Role NC Associates are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Finance / Financial Controller to work for a Not for Profit organisation based in Liverpool. My client is looking to recruit a Head of Finance / Financial Controller on a contract to permanent basis, this role plays a pivotal part within the business and will report into the Managing Director. Duties Provide information to the Managing Director for reporting to the Company Board on the financial performance of the Company. Prepare budgets, monthly management reports and provide timely and regular budgetary reports to the Managing Director and Managers ensuring that there is appropriate support to enable them to interpret the information and take corrective action where areas of potential overspend are identified. Ensure that the Company has financial systems in place to support this process and that there are effective internal control mechanisms to ensure accuracy of reporting and to reduce the risk of fraud. Prepare and submit statutory accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements and liaise with Company Auditors. Liaise with the External Auditors of the Company and ensure that relevant information is supplied to them to ensure that audited accounts are presented to Companies House in line with expected requirements. Manage the Company's bank accounts and ensure that regular and timely reconciliation processes take place. Review all expenditure and associated contractual arrangements to identify areas for achieving efficiency savings. Provide direct line management and support to the finance team including identifying and addressing any training and development needs. Experience Required Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant Solid financial management experience operating at a strategic level Experience of forecasting and dealing with complex problems and resolving in a timely manner Reporting on financial and business issues to the board Strong management and leadership experience Advanced Excel / IT systems experience Uk driving license with access to own car Whats on Offer?
