We have an exciting Part Time opportunity to join our friendly team in Bolton which is based conveniently next to all travel links, restaurants and cafes. You will also receive a competitive salary and fantastic benefits package. The Role: To ensure a comprehensive and efficient facilities and maintenance service at the Bolton site. Key Deliverables: • Ensure visitors and clients are provided with a professional and courteous welcome, signed in and out of the visitors’ book and complete confidentiality documentation as required. • Control the fob access system including: Issuing badges for new starters, people who’ve forgotten their fobs. Making sure they have correct access, Removing leavers fobs/access, Producing weekly and monthly access reports for audit purposes. • Undertake Health & Safety related duties including: Weekly testing of the Fire Alarm, Monthly water hygiene checks, Monthly emergency lighting testing • Collate monthly meter readings. • Oversee on site car parking • Stock control of stationery and cleaning consumables and the receipt of deliveries • Issuing and logging DSE equipment • General maintenance duties to include: Changing light bulbs, Small repair jobs, Painting • Liaising with contractors on-site to ensure Wescot standards are adhered to • Annual PAT Testing and Asset Tracking checks • Supervising contractors on an adhoc basis when work is to be completed out-of-hours • Provide cover for annual leave as required. • Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures and legislation that affect the business services provided by WCS. • Make effective use of own time and resources to ensure performance objectives and set targets are achieved. Demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude, being proactive in seeking additional responsibilities. • Undertake any appropriate training requirements to achieve the minimum targets in relation to core objectives and capabilities. • Contribute towards the continuous improvement ethos of WCS by suggesting relevant improvements to business processes and procedures. Knowledge / Skills / Experience: • Planning; prioritisation and organisational skills • Communication skills and ability to articulate with a range of people both within the business and visiting contractors • Experience in dealing with suppliers of goods and services • Basic plumbing; electrical and joinery skills would be an advantage • Have the physical ability to lift and move • Good knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook • Flexibility to change hours/days The working hours for this role are 22.5 hours per week.
