DIRECTOR OF DATA £120,000 - £140,000 equity LONDON Do you have proven experience managing all data strategy and building out a data capability from scratch? Are you looking to work in a fast-paced start-up developing innovative ways to develop a successful product? This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Director of Data. THE COMPANY: As a Director of Data, you will be managing the delivery of the platform, the data strategy and analytics teams in an exciting start-up working on a cutting-edge product. You will assess data problems and implement strategies that involve modern product development techniques. THE ROLE: The role of Director of Data involves the optimisation of the data function to directly impact the business. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following: You will be building out the data and analytics team from scratch You will be managing and leading a team of data scientists, data engineers and others You will be designing the best data strategy for the business You will be optimising the overall delivery of the platform YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience: Educated to degree level in a STEM subject (Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence etc) Proven commercial experience in a leadership position in data Knowledge of cutting-edge machine learning techniques Experience with modern product development practices Proven experience growing a data function from scratch in a start-up environment THE BENEFITS: The successful Senior Data Scientist will receive a salary, dependent on experience of up to £140,000.
