US/UK Tax Trainee London Competitive salary with Bonus, Pension and Perks Our client, a small but growing, boutique, professional services firm in North West London is looking to employ a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking US/UK Tax Trainee Our client is looking to hire a graduate to be trained in the preparation and advisory of US taxes for American expats living in the UK as well as UK taxes for non-dom taxpayers. These areas are significantly more complex than regular UK tax and are a very niche area of practice. Our client is looking to recruit an ambitious graduate who they will train from the ground up and support in the process of becoming an Enrolled Agent (the IRS qualification for tax advisors) and ATT. US/UK Tax Trainee - Duties & Responsibilities Learning the rules regarding taxation of US citizens abroad Learning the rules regarding UK taxes for non-domiciled (and regular UK taxpayers) Using MS Excel to organise, analyse and manipulate client information Performing the initial processing and the primary preparation of client case work Liaising with clients There are genuine career prospects on offer with this role. US/UK Tax Trainee - Person Specification Graduate with a 2.1 Degree from a top university Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail Be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in tax/accounting/numbers/law Competent user of Microsoft Excel Be a team player, flexible and a problem solver.
