Job Title: Trading Underwriter - High Net Worth Location: Manchester Job Type: Permanent Industry: Insurance Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 Benefits Bonus Due to expansion a highly regarded specialist insurance provider are seeking a High Net Worth Underwriter to join their newley established team in the Manchester market. Dealing with all aspects of underwriting including new and exisitng business. The Role: Underwrite new and existing household (standard, non-standard & HNW) business profitably, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice. Arrange, participate and follow up on internal and external sub-coverholder audits Maintain and develop business relationships with brokers and intermediaries. Work collaboratively with other parts of the organisation. Underwrite various household policies from presentation including standard and non-standard household, HNW and unoccupied. Adhere to underwriting standards, instructions and good practice to minimise risk and maximise efficiency Requirements: Strong experience and understanding of household insurance underwriting Cert CII qualified preferred The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise Excellent IT, communication, organisation and negotiation skills Working knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines.
