Overview
Our client is a national IT service provider based in the North East who, due to sustained growth, are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant who is capable of delivering various infrastructure and application solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of technologies. Key Accountabilities Support sales teams by accurately gathering customer requirements and creating technical proposals. Drive innovation by keeping up to date with latest technologies and products. Deliver effective infrastructure solutions across a diverse client base and provide extensive solution documentation. Develop and maintain strong business relationships and identify areas for further business development. Take full responsibility for requirement gathering, design and delivery as either part of a team or individually. Technical expertise Install and configure Operating Systems - Windows / Linux / Unix Design and migration expereicne to public cloud - AWS / Azure / GCP Install, troubleshoot and configure - VMWare / Hyper - V Deployment and administration - Exchange / O365 / Active Directory Desirable Knowledge of - Networking / Firewalls / Citrix (VDI solutions) Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to have a full driver’s license and use of their own vehicle for travel to client sites.
