Our client is an award winning software development company who are looking for a Technical Architect to join their Senior Management team. The Technical Architect will be responsible for managing the delivery and support process across the business to assist in building and managing operational applications and their end services more efficiently. About the role You will be required to assess, support and implement high quality information technology architecture. Reporting directly into the CTO, this is a senior appointment and will be required to communicate regularly with the Senior Management team. Main responsibilities will include: Facilitating the development process and operations. Identifying setbacks and shortcomings. Creating suitable DevOps channels across the organization. Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development. Designing efficient practices. Delivering comprehensive best practices. Managing and reviewing technical operations. About you To be successful as a Technical Architect, you should demonstrate a leadership mindset, solid operational experience, and the ability to problem-solve. Ultimately, a top-notch Technical Architect should have exceptional communication skills, be knowledgeable about the latest industry trends, and highly innovative. Have a Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Previous experience working on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS operation team. Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring. Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling (Chef, Puppet, and Docker) Knowledges of live service best practices i.e. ITIL Working knowledge of Automation service provisioning and middleware configuration. Strong analytical skills. Technical skills: Cloud technologies – AWS (GCP & Azure would be advantageous) Knowledges of LAMP, Java Understanding of Security best practices & operational tooling Experience with an Agile & DevOps delivery/support approach ISO9001 & ISO27001 compliance This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89899042
