Project Manager - Infrastructure/Data Centre Projects Duration: 6 months with likelihood of extensions Location: London Clearance: SC minimum, DV preferential Rate: £600 - 650 per day Start Date: 2-4 weeks IR35 Status: Outside Overview We are looking for an experienced SC or DV Cleared Project Manager with a strong background in Infrastructure, conducting hardware refreshes, network projects, Cloud based solutions and Data Centre projects looking for an interesting opportunity to help build and scale something unique. You must be able to work in a fast paced 'Agile' style environment and willing to travel within the UK. You will come with a proven ability as a Project Manager in a complex IT Infrastructure environment and keen to utilise your skills and experience to make a direct impact on a large cross government initiative with an exciting future and portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the planning and implementation of Data centre, Hardware Refresh, Network connectivity, Cloud Based Solutions such as AWS/ Azure Manage a virtual matrix team of shared resources and report programme risks Engage with the stakeholders and managers to develop the programme plan Required Experience: Strong Background in IT and Infrastructure Project Management Experience with resource planning Experience with new Data Centre fit outs and relocations Experience with hardware and software Experience with Networking Excellent communicator and eagerness to manage stakeholders at a variety of levels High attention to detail and appreciation for understanding processes Desirable: Experience with AWS and or Azure Project Management Qualification (Prince2 or Similar)
