Overview
Procurement Manager – Cwmbran - £32,000 - £35,000 REED are recruiting of a Procurement Manager on behalf of a forward thinking electronics manufacturer based in the Cwmbran area. The company supply many global giants and are already ahead of most working within the ‘New Energy’ industry as our world is now turning more futuristic and electrical. The Role: The Procurement Manager will lead the Procurement function and manage a team of four. Fundamentally you will regularly deliver cost savings, in addition to establish key relationships with crucial suppliers. You will need to manage and source suppliers in China and the likes of Europe. Additionally, the Procurement Manager will need to contribute to their indirect procurement with a number of internal contracts coming to an end this year. Someone who is a proactive thinker and uses this to their advantage will fit in well. Profile Essentials: Manufacturing Background with Electronics & Mechanical Components experience. At least Three Years Procurement / Purchasing Senior experience Managed Suppliers in China Proven at Cost Saving Indirect Procurement Worked close with engineers and ability to understand drawings to a degree A Proactive Thinker & Planner System SAP experience If you're interested in this role, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
