Quality Manager (1 YEAR FTC/ Food Manufacturing) Ilminster Monday to Friday £35,000 to £42,000 per annum 26 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Quality Manager required for a successful and busy food manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to be a member of an established management team where you will help to improve standards and continually improve processes across site. This Quality Manager role will suit candidates from any food manufacturing or similar company who have experience within a quality/technical management role. You will need to be experienced with Food Safety, HACCP Level 3 and BRC standards and be confident to maintain and improve all quality processes. You will need to be confident in running internal and external audits and be able to work autonomously and liaise with internal managers to ensure all processes and standards are being adhered to. Your role will be to oversee the day to day running of the Quality Department. You will manage a team of 11 direct reports and work together to ensure that product quality is met. You will run internal and external audits with suppliers, ensure the site is working to BRC regulations and follows any H & S and hygiene regulations. The Quality Manager Role: One year FTC Oversee the day to day running of the Quality Department. Managing a team of circa 11 direct reports. Maintaining BRC regulations on site. Ensuring all food hygiene standards are met. Be the main point of contact for internal and external audits. Oversee product and packaging quality and ensure customers requirements are met. The Quality Manager: Previous Quality Manager experience within food/FMCG background Proven experience working to BRC standards. Confident in managing a team.
